The Show
When local visionary Murphy Vogel purchased an abandoned movie theater with dreams of restoring it to its former glory, nobody expected him to die on opening day. Now his ragtag team of employees attempt keep his dream alive—even if they're not qualified.
Vogel Memorial Theater follows Annie, David, Melody, Kevin, and Dirk as they navigate the challenges of running a single-screen cinema in the streaming age. Through wacky schemes and shananigans, they're determined to keep the theater open for business!

Drew DeMarino
Drew has always been a huge sitcom fan and now he gets to experience the wonders of playing a creepy janitor on one! He’s a Junior VPA Film major graduating in Spring 2027. Previous experience includes: acting, editing and sound work on multiple student short films (Heritage, Q.L.E), and being an actor, writer, and head editor on CitrusTV’s University News Cycle.

Maxwell is a co-creator, executive producer, director, and co-editor of VMT. He contributes to planning and logistics for each episode and plays a handful of minor roles throughout the series. Maxwell is a sophomore studying Television, Radio & Film and Finance at Syracuse University.
Season One
In an effort to gain attention from his mother, David impliments a loyalty program that backfires against the theater.
David organizes a company outing in the park behind his mother's back.
After their usual hangout spot gets shut down, a clique of preteens chooses Vogel Theater to house their chicanery.
The theater employees figure out how to either keep or replace their beloved soda machine.
